$600 Million Settlement Announced

Flint, MI – Napoli Shkolnik PLLC, in collaboration with other legal representatives and the Michigan Attorney General’s office, reached a significant $600 million settlement in the Flint Water Crisis Litigation. The settlement aims to compensate residents who were adversely affected by contaminated water supplied by the Flint Water Treatment Plant between 2014 and 2016.

Representatives from the State of Michigan, Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (now renamed the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy), the City of Flint, and former and current governors Richard Snyder and Gretchen Whitmer, respectively, are involved in the settlement. This agreement marks a critical milestone for the citizens of Flint, providing a victims’ compensation fund for those represented by lawyers and open to any other victims who have yet to make a claim.
