The council’s CEO assures that it will ensure that the NEPA requirements are met and that the overall quality of the proposed federal actions for agencies, decision makers, project proponents, and the public is improved upon. The goal is to ensure that the proposed actions would appropriately address the NEPA analysis of potential GHG emissions and its effects. They will have agencies construct projections for GHG emissions based on their preexisting research.
